Pixter Lenses for Smartphones

Pixter is a French start-up company that produces premium lenses for smartphones. They offer a variety of clip-on lenses that are universally compatible with any smartphone. I have recently purchased the pro pack, which has the macro, wide angle, fish eye and a telephoto lens. You can the comparison for each lens below. All before shots were shot on a Google Pixel 3 and the after is shot with the lens attached and shot in the same spot. All images are straight from the phone, no filters or image alterations have been applied.

The Pixter lenses enable a greater versatility of your smartphone camera by widening the options of the shots you can take. The easy clip-on lenses method allows the lenses to be taken off and place on the smartphone with ease when needed. The wide-angle is the most useful lens providing a greater field of view which is great for group photos or when travelling, The macro lens is the most fun out of them by allow closeup photography and seeing the textures and details of objects. The fisheye and telephoto will be a great option however you won’t find yourself needing these as much due to the smartphones having a telephoto lens already. The fisheye provides a creative addition to gets those fun and creative angles.
